The statement also posted on ISPR spokesperson Asim Bajwa’s twitter account came in wake of a mass protest in Islamabad’s red zone by protestors belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) wanting to topple the present incumbent government.

The ISPR press release says that the situation requires patience,wisdom and sagacity from all stakeholders and urges them to resolve all issues through meaningful dialogue in larger national and public interest.

It must be remembered that heavy contingents of army personnel have been deployed in sensitive buildings in Islamabad after Imran Khan and Tahir-ul-Qadri led protestor to the sensitive zone in country’s capital.

While in the most recent development, the interior ministry control room has also been taken over by Pakistan Army personnel.
