CCTV camera captures horrifying dog attack at university

The CCTV visuals of a horrifying dog attack on a man inside Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on Sunday morning went viral on social media.

The victim was identified as a retired doctor – Safdar Ali – who was taking a morning walk in the Sir Syed Museum garden on the campus when the pack of stray dogs approached the man and viciously mauled the victim, leaving him with multiple bite marks and severe injuries.

The police received information about the body lying in the park at around 7:30 am and rushed to the scene. However, by the time the police arrived, the victim had already succumbed to his injuries.

The Indian Superintendent of Police (SP) Kuldeep Singh confirmed the death of the retired doctor and said that the body had been sent for post-mortem. Meanwhile, the university has yet to release a statement on the incident.
