According to Radio Pakistan, Chairman of FBR Nisar Muhammad said that key changes will be introduced in the sales tax system whereas invoices will be scrutinized via electronic system.
He went on to say that the FBR has been appreciated by the International Monetary Fund for surpassing the revenue target for the previous financial year.
“Revenue of Rs. 3.1 trillion was collected during FY15-16 which was an all time high,” Muhammad said.
