ISLAMABAD: Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani in his first step after taking oath as the Chief Justice of Pakistan, ordered inquiry about the footage leak of the full court reference in the honour of former chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, ARY News reported on Thursday.
A delegation of mediapersons called on the new Chief Justice when he reached Supreme Court after the oath taking ceremony in Presidency.
The mediamen informed the Chief Justice that except a private television channel, no channel was allowed to cover the reference in the honour of the outgoing Chief Justice.
Chief Justice Jillani assured the mediamen to take notice of the issue and ordered Additional Registrar of Supreme Court Muhammad Ali to inquire into the matter.
