ISLAMABAD: The Chief Ministers of all four provinces and Gilgit Baltisitan as well as the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir will head respective committees for the implementation of the National Action Plan.
The decision was made on Friday during a meeting chaired by National Security Advisor Lt. Gen. (retd) Nasir Janjua which overviewed the 20-point National Action Plan.
Janjua briefed the meeting about the practical steps taken and the obstacles faced over the implementation of the comprehensive plan.
It was decided to expedite efforts and increase cooperation for the successful implementation of NAP. In this regard, committees will be set up which will be chaired by the provincial chief ministers.
The meeting was also attended by the Attorney General, provincial chief secretaries, provincial home ministers, Inspector General Police, Secretary FATA and military representatives.
