RAWALPINDI: Four children have paid a hefty price of having a fight with the nephew of the police officer in Rawalpindi as a case was registered against them, ARY News reported on Thursday.

In an alleged misuse of power, a case was registered against four children following the complaint of a station house officer (SHO) for allegedly fighting with his nephew.

It emerged that a SHO named Chaudhry Owais Ikram from Pirwadhai police station allegedly used his influence to file a case against four children including Ibrahim, Abdul Rehman, Hussain and Noman.

The case had been filed against them on October 23 by the officials of the Airport police station. The children had allegedly fought the son of the SHO’s brother Chaudhry Jawad.

Earlier in the day, Additional District and Sessions Judge Masood Akhtar Kayani approved bail of the children against the surety bonds worth Rs50,000.

The court also issued directives to produce the children on November 5 again and adjourned the hearing.
