China acknowledges Pakistan’s sacrifices in war on terror

ISLAMABAD: China has again acknowledged Pakistan’s sacrifices and contributions in war on terror.

“Finger pointing at each other is not conducive to the global counter terrorism efforts,” said Spokesperson of Chinese Foreign Ministry Lu Kang during his regular press briefing in Beijing.

He said the Chinese side opposed linking of terrorism with any certain country and disagreed to place the responsibility of counter terrorism on a certain country.

Lu Kang said terrorism was common enemy of the world and cracking down on the menace needed joint efforts from the international community.

“We have said many times that Pakistan has made important contributions as well as enormous sacrifices to the fight against terrorism. Pakistan deserves full acknowledgement from the international community on its counter-terrorism efforts,” he said.
