China is our longtime friend, which will never leave us, claims Shahbaz

CHINNIOT: Chief Minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif has claimed that China is a longtime friend of Pakistan and it will never leave us. He was addressing a public meeting here on Wednesday – ARY News reports.

According to details, the Government of Punjab and a Chinese company have signed an agreement to discover underground iron deposits in Chinniot. The Chief Minister vowed to build world's largest steel mill here, if iron reserves were found.

He told that China wants Pakistan to be stable economically and for this purpose it will invest 32 billion USD in different projects here.

Shahbaz Sharif further clarified that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has not demanded anything against the 1.5 billion dollars it gifted to Pakistan.
