Christian Bale to play the role of late Steve Jobs

HOLLYWOOD: Director David Fincher of ‘The Social Network’ fame reportedly wants Christian Bale to play the role of late Steve Jobs in Aaron Sorkin’s new film.

Fincher is likely to direct the film only if they manage to get the Oscar winning star of ‘The Dark Knight’ trilogy to perform the role of the late Apple CEO, reported Contactmusic.

Reports suggest that with Bale having Steve Job-esque looks and acting skills, he seems to be a sensible choice. Previously, actor Ashton Kutcher played the character of Jobs in 2013′s ‘Jobs’ but not to much success.

Jobs, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2003, eventually died losing his battle to the disease in 2011.
