CM Murad discusses development projects with World Bank

ISLAMABAD: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Friday discussed ongoing development projects in the province with the World Bank.

The chief minister met a six-member delegation of the World Bank led by country director Patchamuthu Illangovan at Sindh House.

During the meeting, it was decided that the World Bank will increase cooperation with the government of Sindh and support for projects education and health sectors.

The World Bank will initiate a training program to increase number of teachers in Sindh, and give consideration for education reforms. There will be efforts for improvements in the health sector.

It was also decided to develop a disciplinary approach in departments to ensure that budgets are utilised properly, and provide a face-lift to district quarters.
