CM Punjab briefed by 15 departments on implementation of 100-day plan

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar on Saturday was briefed about 15 departments about the progress on the steps taken for implementation of government’s 100-day plan, ARY News reported.

The CM was briefed about departments of primary and secondary health, specialized health and medical education, schools education, higher education, labour, women development, industry, agriculture, livestock and dairy development, irrigation, housing, forests, local government and police over steps taken for successful implementation of the proposed plan.

The CM directed strict implementation on the 100-day plan and issued necessary instructions, said a statement released from his office after the briefings. The chief minister continued his official engagements without any break for long hours, the statement adds.

The chief minister also chaired two meetings on measures to control smog and introduce new local government system.

“As per PM Imran Khan’s vision, a system of check and balance would be introduced in local government institutions and transparency would be ensured at all costs,” the CM said during the meeting.

Sardar Usman Buzdar said that a system aimed at swiftly resolve public problems at the grass-root level should be developed.
