CM Punjab announces Rs 100m grant for PHF

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has announced Rs 100 million grant for Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF), ARY News reported on Wednesday.

The chief minister made this announcement during a meeting with PHF President Akhter Rasool.

A committee headed by Punjab Sports Minister Rana Mashood Ahmed Khan has been formed for betterment of the game. The grant announced by the CM will be spent on revival of hockey and search of new talent

Shahbaz Sharif said all necessary steps will be taken to promote the national game.
