CM Sindh attends Karachi Kings’ Send Off Ceremony

KARACHI: Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah attended the Send Off Ceremony of Karachi Kings team at Karachi’s Naya Nazimabad on Saturday, ARY News reported.

Owner of Karachi Kings and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ARY Digital Network Salman Iqbal, Chairman of ARY Digital Network Haji Mohammad Iqbal and Shoaib Malik were present on the occasion.

The chief minister said that his well-wishes have been with the team. He also said, ” We will make full efforts for organizing next year’s Pakistan Super League (PSL) final in Karachi”.

Mr. Salman Iqbal, speaking on the occasion, said that PSL will be a mega event. He said that Karachi Kings was the first franchise in the league which became prominent across the country.

He also said that youngsters have been selected in the tournament. He said, “The whole country will win regardless of whoever emerges victorious in the tournament.”

Chairman of Arif Habib Group, Arif Habib — addressing the team — said that cricket is a thrilling sport which is loved by the entire nation. He expressed his optimism that the team will perform well and in a competitive manner.

Arif Habib stated that this event is dedicated to Karachi Kings and the ARY CEO has made the best side. He prayed that may the side perform well and Almighty Allah grant the team success in the competition.

He also congratulated Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) over organizing the cricketing league. He added that PSL provided an opportunity to the youngsters to play with the international players.
