The meeting took place at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad. The COAS and the prime minister discussed the overall situation, national security and ongoing political crisis in connection to protests and sit-ins in the capital
They agreed to steer country out of political crisis and resolve the issues in better interest of the country.
The meeting between the two was expected following deadlock between protesters led by Imran Khan and Dr. Tahirul Qadri and the government did not break.
