72nd Formation Commanders' Conference concludes

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif chaired the 72nd Formation Commanders’ Conference in Rawqalpindi on Wednesday, ARY News reported.

During the conference professional and training issues of Pakistan Army were discussed. The participants were given a detailed briefing on internal and external security situation, sources said.

The conference was attended by corps commanders, principal staff officers and all formation commanders. The conference reviewed the coherent strategy adopted in wake of growing militants’ operations against security forces and incident like of Karachi airport.

It was endorsed in the conference that every measure would be taken for the sovereignty and security of country and no one would be allowed to impose negative views over it.
