General Raheel Sharif was addressing a gathering on the occasion of a passing out parade at the Naval Academy. He also stated that the army was ready to render any sacrifice for the safety, welfare and benefit for Pakistan.

The army chief also stated clearly that Pakistan would cooperate with other countries in order to promote pace. However, he warned that no compromise would be reached on the country’s security and self-respect. General Raheel also praised the nation for wholeheartedly supporting Operation Zarb e Azb and stated that the support received had been uplifting.
General Raheel also stated that positive results were being achieved and terrorists were becoming increasingly anxious. He also stated that the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would change the destiny of the people of this region.
