We have concerns over use of PPO: Farooq Sattar

KARACHI: Dr. Farooq Sattar, senior leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), said that his party has serious concerns over the usage of Pakistan Protection Ordinance (PPO), ARY News reports.

Addressing an inter-faith harmony conference organized by Pakistan Ulema Council, Dr. Farooq Sattar has said that some elements want to defame Pakistan and Islam. He added that PPO should point out those persons who pose a threat to national defence.

He also said that PPO will be used against the Federal Railways Minister Khwaja Saad Rafiq and Defence Minister Khawaja Asif.

MQM leader added that the efforts of Maulana Tahir Ashrafi and his partners are appreciable.
