Rangers granted 90 days custody of alleged target killer

Rehan Behari was produced before the court today under strict security.

The Rangers pleaded to the court for granting 90 days physical remand of the accused who is allegedly involved in 50 targeted killings.

The court after hearing the arguments handed over the accused for 90 days to the paramilitary agency for interrogation.

The Rangers had recently arrested Rehan Behari from Surjani Town of Karachi during a targeted raid.

The suspect has been said to be linked with a political party and was sector incharge of the party in Surjani Town.

The Rangers claimed that the suspect has confessed his involvement in target killings of policemen and workers of rival political parties and was heading an organized team of hitmen. He has also been involved in extortion, china cuttings, kidnapping for ransom and snatching hides of sacrifice animals.
