Hyderabad court grants bail to Qaimkhani

The court heard a case against PSP leader Qaimkhani about his alleged involvement in arson attack, rioting and attempt to murder back in 1994. The counsel of the accused, in his arguments denied charges against his client and said that false charges have been filed against his client, who was and was not involved in these attacks.

The court, after hearing arguments of the defence, granted pre-arrest bail to Qaim Khani and ordered him to submit a surety bond of Rs. 0.1 million.

It should be noted that a court had issued orders of sending Qaimkhani to jail after rejecting his bail petition in Dr Asim Hussain case.

The PSP leader’s medical condition deteriorated on Thursday and he was shifted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Karachi’s Jinnah Hospital for medical attendance.
