KARACHI: A local court on Tuesday here handed over seven suspects to police on further two-days remand who were arrested in kidnapping of a newborn child from Qatar Hospital of Karachi, ARY News reported.
The accused were presented before the court after three-day remand.
The investigation officer apprised the court that an abducted infant has been recovered from the possession of the accused along with Rs. 87,000 cash.
The gang has been comprised of seven men and four women.
Earlier, the police arrested a woman with the help of CCTV footage of the hospital. On indication of the abductor more arrests were made during raids.
