A recorded statement of former Punjab governor Khalid Maqbool was also produced in the court. The defence also presented a DVD of the speech of former prime minister Shaukat Aziz to the court. The prosecution objected over it.
Justice Faisal Arab remarked that the court could not depend only on the newspaper cuttings in the case.
Defence counsel Barrister Farogh Naseem in his arguments said that no individual himself impose emergency or martial law. It is a collective step for which all including the PCO judges are responsible, he argued.
