KARACHI: Sindh High Court issued notices to government of Sindh, D.G. Rangers and I.G. Police Sindh over a plea of MQM-London leader Sathi Ishaq, ARY News reported on Tuesday.
A division bench of the high court headed by Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto heard a petition filed by Shabana Ishaq, the wife of Sathi Ishaq.
The petitioner pleaded to the court that Pakistan’s constitution and the law grant freedom of politics and self expression to every citizen but her spouse Sathi Ishaq is being subjected to harassment by the law enforcement agencies.
The court after hearing the petitioner issued notices to the government of Sindh, D.G. Rangers and I.G. Police of Sindh to submit their replies by November 25.
