The ATC had issued warrants for the two political figures for the second time in the SSP attack case. The court had also issued their arrest warrants on May 31.
The SSP was thrashed by the protesters near the Constitution Avenue on September 1, 2014.
The Secretariat police had registered the case against several PTI and PAT workers for their alleged involvement in vandalism and attacking SSP Junejo.

The FIR was registered under sections 337-F, 353, 324, 382, 186, 147, 148, 152, 153 and 109 of the Pakistan Penal Code read with Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997, on the complaint of Sajjad Ahmed.

The law enforcement agencies had registered FIR of the incident against the party chiefs Tahir-ul-Qadri, Imran Khan and their workers involved in the violent incident.
Earlier, ATC Islamabad had declared Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri as proclaimed offenders in the case.
