LAHORE: Anti-Terrorism Court Lahore sent the central accused of Farzana Parveen murder case and father of the victim to jail on judicial remand, ARY News reported on Saturday.
Farzana Parveen was recently bludgeoned to death with bricks outside the Lahore High Court by her relatives over marrying a man of her choice.
Police produced Mohammad Azeem, the father of the victim and the key accused in the case, in the special court today after seven days’ physical remand.
The investigation officer informed the court that the interrogation of the accused has been completed and the police not needed custody of the accused.
After the police statement, the judge sent the accused to jail.
Other arrested suspects of the case, were not produced in the court so far.
