The petition was filed in the sessions court under Article 22-A by a citizen, Manzoor Ali Brohi and 22 others.
The petitioners contended that Syed Khursheed Shah termed the word ‘Muhajir’ as abuse, which is liable to committing blasphemy.
They appealed the court to order registration of a case against Shah, along with inspector general Sindh and SHO Brigade Police Station, Karachi.
