Courts to be established to address Overseas Pakistanis’ grievances: Bukhari

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Zulfikar Bukhari has said that his ministry is working for the establishment of courts to address grievances of the Pakistani expats, ARY News reported on Thursday.

Bukhari along with the IG Islamabad visited the Police Facilitation Centre situated in Islamabad’s area of F-6.

The special assistant said, special desks are being established in police facilitation centers to remove the grievances of people abroad at earliest.

He said most of the complaints filed by the overseas Pakistanis are related to property which will be entertained timely.

Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari said the government is committed to provide maximum relief to Pakistani expatriates.

On April 30, Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development had launched a mobile phone application ‘Call Sarzameen App’ to swiftly address the issues facing Pakistani expatriates and their families.

The application was formally launched following the complete success of its pilot project. The app’s web portal was introduced in November last year on trial basis which received around 531 complaints, out of which, 361 had been resolved while 96 were in process, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Zulfikar Bukhari told state-run wire service.
