LARKANA: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested two hardened terrorists from Larkana and Jacobabad, ARY News reported on Tuesday.
SP CTD Abdullah Ahmadyar in a press briefing here said that CTD personnel in a raid near Shaikh Zaid More in Larkana arrested a terrorist Qari Bilal, who is affiliated with Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and was also working with various Punjab based outlawed groups and Chhotu Gang.
The suspect who has been a native of Rajanpur, was in hiding after awarded death sentence in a murder case in year 2008.
Qari Bilal has also got terrorism training from Afghanistan. He had arrived in Larkana for a funding mission of a banned group when arrested, police official said.
Another terrorist, Abid Shah, was arrested from Jacobabad with a gun and explosive material, SP CTD said.
Abid Shah has been a member of Balochistan Republican Army (BRA) and was involved in detonating bombs at railway tracks, power pylons and gas pipelines, CTD officer said.
He was working for BRA operatives Ali Bagh and Commander Dosoo, CTD official added.
