HONG KONG: Peshawar Zalmi captain Darren Sammy has shaved his head as he promised in a video before winning the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017 final, ARY News reported.

On March 4, a day before PSL’s final game, Sammy had said that he and his team mates will shave their heads if they win the PSL final against Quetta Gladiators. “I am going to bring the clipper to the final,” said Sammy in the video.

As Zalmi convincingly beat the Gladiators, who were playing without their regular lot of foreign players, Sammy shaved his head today but as far as other Zalmi players are concerned, they are taking it as a joke.
Speaking exclusively to ARY News, Zalmi owner Javed Afridi clarified his stance over the promise.
