Death row prisoner hanged in Bahawalpur Jail

The rights groups Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, United Nations and the European Union have called on the government of Pakistan to re-impose the ban on death sentence in the country as more than 200 convicts have been hanged since lifting of the moratorium since December 2014.
