Akshay Kumar’s kind gesture to reschedule his movie ‘Pad Man’ for ‘Padmaavat’ has won the hearts of not just the filmmakers but the leading cast as well.
The problem occurred when ‘Padmaavat’ announced its release on January 25 in clash with ‘Pad Man’, however Akshay Kumar amicably resolved the enigma by offering to postpone his movie till January 9.
The Pad Man hero announced this in a press conference on request of iconic Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
“A big day can accomodate two movies, but I would personally like to see his (Bhansali’s) film being screened solo on big screen, because there’s a big thing on stake and they have gone through a lot. So, I wish him a luck,” he said.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are all praise for Akshay Kumar and the entire Pad Man team.
“Big Man with a Big Heart! @akshaykumar … Grateful to you, Sir ….❤ Mad Love and Respect,” wrote Ranveer on his microblogging account.
While Deepika wrote quote of a Muslim sufi Rumi, “Only from the heart can you touch the sky.”
“On behalf of team Padmaavat, a big big thank you to team Pad Man for your support & generosity!” she said.
