ISLAMABAD: Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz Sunday said that Indian attempts to isolate Pakistan in the region have been frustrated miserably.
“Dialogue process on Indian terms is unacceptable for Pakistan and without Kashmir issue dialogue with New Delhi will not be possible,” he said in an interview.
He said India escaped bilateral dialogue process on the pretext of terrorism. The adviser said voices against Indian brutalities in Occupied Kashmir are now even being raised in India as well.
Sartaj Aziz said steps against terrorism during the last year remained significant and rest of the terrorists have fled from Pakistan after Operation Zarb-i-Azb.
He said positive economic growth in the country has also left positive impact on the foreign policy.
Sartaj Aziz said Pakistan-China relations also crossed many destinations during the last year and any country who wants to join CPEC will be welcomed.
On the other hand, President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Ahmad Khan has urged the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres to play his role for the resolution of the Kashmir issue.
He said that the United Nations resolutions on Kashmir issue are workable, but India is not cooperating with the UN in this regard.
The AJK President said India wants to divert the attention of world community from its atrocities and human rights violations in the territory.
