DJ Butt issued notice for evading tax worth Rs 17mn

The revenue authority served notice to DJ Butt – man behind musical vigor at PTI rallies – for evading tax on Rs 110 million which he earned during PTI sit-ins.

In the notice issued by Additional Commissioner Aisha Ranjha, DJ Asif Nazar Butt was warned of strict action against him if he did not deposit Rs 17 million dues in the treasury.

Earlier on July 6, DJ Butt had come up with claims that PTI owes him Rs 80 million from Dharna days on account of musical arrangements at its Islamabad sit-in that continued for 126 days.
