His owner Glenna Duram is accused of murdering her husband Martin, in front of the couple’s pet in 2015.
Duram’s ex-wife, who now owns Bud, says he’s been repeating Martin Duram’s last words, which includes the phrase “don’t shoot”.

“I know he’s seen something pretty horrible. and I know it’s stuck there a little bit, you know. The way his cage is positioned, he had the front row view.”
Prosecutors of the case say they’re still considering whether to submit the Bud’s words as evidence.
“It’s something we’re going to be looking at to determine if it’s reliable to use, but ultimately what we’re going to look at is, ‘is this piece of information what we really need to prosecute the case’?”
Animal experts say parrots are highly intelligent creatures, and that it’s ‘possible’ Bud remembers the alleged murder.
