The former minister accused Tappi of having involvement in every kind of corruption including health sector. Dr Asim is accused of mega corruption apart from facilitating terrorists.
Dr Asim’s lawyer Anwer Mansoor Khan said the statements were taken by making him intoxicated by feeding drugs. Anyhow, the comments taken in absence of magistrate have no importance.

He said the video clip making rounds on social media was recorded while Dr Asim was in Rangers custody.
“It felt as if somebody was forcing him to speak such in that video,” he said.
Dr Asim has accused Tappi of threatening him if he spoke against his corruption, when he asked Tappi to stop playing with human lives through embezzlement in medical and health sector.
