According to details, unknown terrorists opened fire when a contingent of Sindh Rangers was carrying out an operation in search of criminal elements in Shikarpur.
As a consequence, a DS Rangers was martyred along with a passerby, while two other personnel were injured, who were immediately shifted to Civil Hospital Shikarpur.
Meanwhile, a terrorist was also killed following gunfire by the paramilitary personnel.
