KARACHI: A 5.7-magnitude tremor jolted several towns of Sindh and Balochistan on the wee hours of Friday, ARY News reports. 

The tremors of quake felt in Sindh's cities of Larkana, Sukkur, Dadu, Shikarpur, Shahdadkot, Khairpur, Jacobabad and Madeji in midnight at the  shallow depth of five kilometres, 63 kilometres west of Larkana, the seismological centre said.

The modest intensity earthquake also jolted Dera Murad Jamali and other towns of Balochistan. 

People, after quake ran out of their homes reciting holy verses, reports said.   
The USGS in an initial assessment said there was a low likelihood of casualties and damage.
