ECP issues Imran's nomination papers to Arsalan Iftikhar

Arsalan Iftikhar, the son of former chief justice of Pakistan Justice (Retd) Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry, had requested to the ECP for issuance of a copy of nomination papers of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan to him, which he had filed in the general elections in 2013.

A representative of Arsalan Iftikhar received the papers from the ECP today.

Arsalan has announced his intentions to file a reference against the PTI chief, seeking his disqualification as a member of the National Assembly.

He claimed that there is enough evidence to prove that Imran Khan attracts disqualification under Article 62 of the constitution.
