Talking to media after a meeting with former President Asif Ali Zardari, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that efforts are being made to defame the military. He added that the rulers will not succeed in their motives.
Chaudhy Pervez Ilahi said that the ministers are lashing out against the leadership of the protesting parties inside the Parliament House, while in the evening they come to hold talks with them.
He said that on one side negotiations are being held, while on the other arrests of the workers of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) are continued.
Ilahi said the police even arrested the injured workers from the hospitals, adding that the report of the Model Town carnage has revealed that the people were directly shot by the police.
He said these dual standards of the ruling party cannot help in resolving the issue.
The PMLQ leader told that Asif Ali Zardari in today’s meeting, emphasized on finding a dignified solution to the issue.
