This Egyptian woman is believed to be the world's fattest

CAIRO: A 36-year-old Egyptian woman, believed to be the fattest female in the world, has reached 500 kgs weight.

According to Metro, Iman Ahmad Abdulati, who is from Alexandria in northern Egypt, has not left her home for 25 years – since she was 11-years-old – because of her weight problem.

After years of desperate attempts to deal with the issue, her sister Chaymaa’ Ahmad Abdulati has now gone public with the problem in the hope of getting help.

She never attended school because of her weight problem.

Mother and daughter said a lot of their time is spent trying to care for Iman, including feeding and cleaning her and providing her with help in going to the toilet, as she could no longer walk there.

They said that the woman had ended up at home from the age of 11 after suffering what they believe was a stroke that left her bedridden.
