The Judicial Commission headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Nasirul Mulk was constituted under a presidential ordinance to inquire into the allegations of cheating in 2013 general elections in Pakistan.

Ishaq Khakwani of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Awami National Party’s (ANP) Bushra Gohar submitted documents in the inquiry commission to back their claims regarding alleged rigging in the elections.

Ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) also submitted its reply of a notice of the judicial commission issued by the probe body on the request of PTI. PML-N official Shahid Hamid submitted the party’s answer in the commission.

PML-N Senator Rafique Rajwana has said that the PTI have no proofs regarding the alleged election rigging. They should produce their evidence instead of lamenting over the alleged rigging in the polls.

PML-Q also submitted their dossier of evidence to the inquiry commission. The party has also given a list of 25 persons to be summoned as witnesses including former chief election commissioner Fakhruddin G. Ebrahim, Registrar Supreme Court and the Registrar of Lahore High Court.
