1082 persons missing in the country: Interior Ministry
ISLAMABAD: Interior Ministry has submitted the details of the Missing Persons in the Senate, ARY News reports on Thursday.
According to the figures by the Interior Ministry, 304 cases have been filed in the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP). It was further stated that 1082 persons have gone missing in the country.
In a written statement, the Senate is informed that 14 cases in the Lahore High Court (LHC), 174 cases in the Sindh High Court (SHC), 101 cases in the Peshawar High Court (PHC) and 22 cases in the Balochistan High Court (BHC) are being heard.
The senate has been told that the Ministry has not yet received the details of the decomposed from the provinces since 2001.
