16 dacoits lay down arms in Sukkur

SUKKUR: Sixteen hardened criminals involved in heinous crimes have surrendered before Police and Rangers officials in Sukkur, ARY News reported on Thursday.

The criminals laid down their arms before Commissioner Larkana Abbas Baloch and Sector Commander Rangers Colonel Imtiaz and DIG Larkana Feroz Shah.

The dacoits surrendered their rifles, machine-guns and other weapons and munitions before the law enforcement officials.

The officials said they welcome the people coming into the national mainstream and gifted them Ajrak and Sindhi cap in a ceremony.

The Rangers officials also promised to provide legal assistance to the people who surrendered their arms.

According to a spokesman of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) 16 hardened criminals namely Mohammad Iqbal Nandwani, Makhnoo Khan Nandwani, Saifuddin Nandwani, Mohammad Siddique, Attaullah Teghani, Kehar Ali Nandwani, Ghulam Mohammad Nandwani, Noor Hassan Nandwwani, Yaqub Nandwani, Jaffar Khan Nandwani, Mir Hassan Nandwani, Dost Ali Nandwani, Mehrab, Bashir Ahmed, Pathan and Fazal Mohammad have surrendered before the Commissioner Larkana division.
