JOHANNESBURG: South Africa was all out at 244 runs on the third day of the first test match against India here at the Bullring Wanderers on Friday, ARY News reports.
Starting at 213 for 6, South Africa lost the rest of their 4 wickets and contributed only 31 runs on the third day.
Proteas batsman Graeme Smith was the highest scorer for the team with his knock of 68 runs followed by Vernon Philander's contribution of 59 runs.
Indian pacers Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharman took 4 wickets each. Mohammad Shami took 2 wickets.
India were all out at 280 runs. Virat Kohli scored 119 runs whereas Ajinkya Rahane scored 47 runs.
India is currently batting at 32/1 with Murali Vijay and Chestehwar Pujara batting. Vernon Philander dismissed Shikhar Dhawan at the score of 23 runs.
