Two banned outfit men among nine arrested in Karachi

KARACHI: Firing and other violent incidents took lives of six people while police and rangers arrested nine people from different areas of Karachi, ARY News reported on Tueday.

Rangers’ sources have claimed the arrest of two banned outfit men from Frontier Colony while seven suspected criminals including a target killer were arrested during operation in Landhi, Korangi and Orangi Town areas.

According to police sources, unknown gunmen killed a man Malik Siddique at Murtaza Chowrangi while a woman killed her husband after throwing acid on his face in Shah Latif Town.

In a strange incident, a citizen killed two robbers while resisting a robbery. Two corpses were recovered from Manghopir and Hijrat Colony.

A gang war criminal was shot dead in a shootout with police in Malir City area.

In a hand grenade attack in Bhimpura area in southern part of the city, 15 people including some children and women were injured in the incident.
