Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Sharmila Farooqui inaugurated the urs by laying a chaadar (piece of clothing) and offered Fateha on the shrine of the renowed Sufi poet.
A literature festival, Malakhra competitions, agriculture exhibitions and classical music events will take place throughout the three days whereas devotees also read out his literary works to the public.
