3 injured as grenade hurled on a mosque
PESHAWAR: At least 3 people were injured as a result of a grenade attack on a local mosque in Binat Klay area, Badh Bair here on Thursday – ARY News reports.
According to details, unknown miscreants hurled a hand grenade on a mosque here injuring at least 3 people. The injured were reported to be locals and the members of the peace committee of the area formed against the militants.
The miscreants after hurling the mosque whisked away soon after the attack.
Meanwhile, police surrounded the vicinity and lodged an operation in search of the attackers, while the injured were shifted to the hospital.
Due to the grenade blast, a wall of the mosque was partially damaged.
