ISLAMABAD: The results of 3G spectrum auction Round-8 has been announced, there wasn't any change in the bids as compare to last three rounds, ARY News reported.
According to sources, the government has generated $902.82 million from the auction of 3G spectrum, which is $17.82 million more as compare to the base price of $885 million set in the morning.
Zong and Mobilink have won 10Mhz, while Telenor and Ufone have won 5Mhz blocks for 3G spectrum, unofficial sources revealed.
It is pertinent to mention that in order to obtain 4G license having a 10Mhz block from 3G spectrum is mandatory.
