ISLAMABAD: A 5.0 magnitude tremor has jolted several upper parts of the country including Swat, Chitral and Malakand on Tuesday – ARY News reports.
According to details, tremor shocks were felt in the evening on Tuesday in upper parts of Pakistan including Diamer, Gazar, Chitral, Malakand and Mingora.
The earthquake was reported to be modest with an intensity of 5.0 on the richter scale, yet a wave of panic swept across the masses and people came out of their houses in fear.
According to seismic center, the epicenter of the earthquake was located in Hindukush mountain range, Afghanistan, some 37 kilometers deep.
