More than 50 villages at risk in Abbottabad following landslide

According to details, a crack appeared in a mountain in Poona village located at Abbottabad’s Havelian district after which 50 houses came in the danger zone. The roads linking to different cities were also damaged as well.

Several villages have been cut off from Islamabad and Abbottabad.

A stream was also converted into an artificial lake following the landslide.

The people were forced to shift to safer places.

Parliamentary leader of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Sardar Aurangzaib Nalotha said that relief work has not started in the province.

He added that party will protest if the relief operations are not started by Monday
