PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) during the hearing of missing persons case, has been informed that 593 people are kept under custody in different detention centers of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province – ARY News reports.
According to details, a two-member bench headed by Chief Justice PHC, Justice Mazhar Alam Khan heard the missing persons case here on Tuesday.
During the hearing, Additional Advocate General of KP submitted the list of prisoners, held in 5 different detention centers, in the PHC. The list stated 593 prisoners held under custody of the security forces.
Sixty prisoners were identified, who are held in 3 detention centers located in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
Moreover, fifty-five new cases were also identified in the province.
